In January 2024, I was asked to help pre-record the Mark Knopfler interview as well as broadcast the Mark Knopfler Guitar Collection sale, which took place at the Christie's HQ in London. Throughout the pre-record, I was responsible for helping set up the vision mixing control room, record footage on two Blackmagic Hyperdeck Studio HD Plus units as well as an ATEM SDI Extreme ISO and copy the footage onto two backup SSDs, while at the sale event, I was responsible for broadcasting to Brightcove using a Matrox HDX Dual-Channel H.264 Encoder as well as running a separate vMix stream to Vimeo together with YouTube for maximum redundancy and vision mixing graphics for the separate streams. This experience tested tested my PTZ colour control as well as video signal pathway knowledge and taught me that the YouTube chat can be turned on and off mid-stream.
